Harlingen, Friesland's port city

View to Town Hall

The “Stadhuis”, City Hall, built between 1730 and 1756 has a baroque façade and an octagonal tower at the back. Above the door is a gilded statue of St. Michael, the patron saint of the city. The foot bridge straddles the Noorderhaven (Northern Harbour).
